In addition to our five wonderful tent sites, two wagons and drive in campsite (prices of our campsites include admission to the springs), their are also dispersed camping sites available through the U.S. Forest Service as follows, close by on RCR 36 only 1/2 mile South of the hot springs, dispersed camping is allowed 100 yards from parking area.
Also the same applies 100 yards from Mad Creek Village parking area. It is only a beautiful three mile hike or bike trip to the hot springs.

If you go up Buffalo Pass Road there are both dispersed camping,as mentioned above, or developed camping areas that include restrooms. These campgrounds are approximately 6 to 8 miles South of the hot springs.

Hiking and biking are popular activities for visitors to Strawberry Park. Be sure to bring appropriate gear and safety provisions. If you are inexperienced, call ahead and our friendly staff will be happy to get you going in the right direction. Remember you must share roads and trails with others.

Interested in after hours soaking? Private Parties? Routt County controls our hours, but you can soak late through the shuttle services, Sweet Pea Tours or Hot Springs Adventures!
